Calling men with low voices.

The Port Coquitlam-based Choral Connections is looking for bass vocalists for its next season that starts Sept. 3.

Led by Ingrid Gay, music teacher at Heritage Woods Secondary in Port Moody, and accompanied by Vincent Lo, Choral Connections is a non-audition adult community choir that meets Tuesday evenings.

Rehearsals take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Trinity United Church (2211 Prairie Ave.) from September to May; Zoom is also available for those unable to attend in person.

Participants from the Tri-Cities, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge sing a variety of music genres, including sacred, classical, pop/rock, jazz, folk and show tunes.

Last season, the choir performed two public shows: Stories of Spring in May and, before Christmas, Tidings of Comfort and Joy at the Terry Fox Theatre.
