Another fake bomb threat has been phoned into a Port Moody school.
Port Moody Police Department stated in a Tweet that it evacuated Port Moody Secondary School because of a bomb threat.
However, the bomb threat proved to be unfounded.
According to School District 43, the call to Port Moody secondary was received about 12:30 p.m. and approximately 1,000 students and staff were evacuated.
This is a second time in recent days a Port Moody school has been hit by a bogus bomb threat.
Last Friday, someone said there was a bomb at Seaview Elementary school in Port Moody.
That threat turned out to be bogus as well, although about 30 people had to be evacuated that day.
Police later suggested it might be connected to unfounded threats at Metrotown on Friday.
