The Coquitlam RCMP's Junior Mountie police academy is a chance for young people to get a fun taste of police work. Over the course of the week, almost 100 participants go through "boot camp," run an obstacle course race and learn about investigative techniques. The camp wraps up with a show and shine event on Friday.
