There is plenty of fun to be had in the Tri-City area, but for those who want something special, a new bounce park in nearby Surrey beckons.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park, which opened in March, is perfect for those looking for a unique adventure close to home.
“We offer a wow experience,” says owner Morey Chaplick.
Action on the trampolines is overseen by court monitors who train for weeks at Sky Zone University, and there is always a manager on site.
Chaplick is extremely proud of his employees, saying they offer great customer service.
“We call them our orange army of Wow,” he says, adding employees get instant rewards for going above and beyond on the job.
Part of what makes his employees so special is their dedication to safety, he says. It is a big part of what makes Sky Zone unique in the region.
“Like any sport or activity, you have to have guidelines,” says Chaplick. “If there are no guidelines, people get hurt.”
He takes safety very seriously, while ensuring customers have a great time, too.
The 30,000-square-foot facility has plenty of oversight from employees who are prepared to handle any situation, from giving bouncing advice to treating minor injuries.
And with more than 10,000 people visiting the facility since it opened, they’ve only had to treat a rolled ankle so far, Chaplick says.
The Surrey trampoline park is the only Sky Zone west of Manitoba. The company has been in business for 20 years and has 200 franchises worldwide.
Sky Zone in Surrey is at 11125-124th Street, just on the other side of the Pattullo Bridge.
