Access to nature and fabulous recreation is clearly a big draw in the Tri-Cities, as River Springs in Coquitlam is the most searched-for neighbourhood by the area’s home hunters, a new infographic by property website REW reveals.
The data analysts at REW found that local property seekers on their portal have a healthy budget (or just high aspirations), with the most popular home search in the Tri-Cities a three-bedroom house in the $1.25-1.5 million range.
The graphic also looks at Tri-Cities home sales and listings in the first six months of the year, compared with the same period in 2017. Echoing the board’s official stats, it reveals condo sale prices have risen much faster than detached home prices, on an annual basis. However, in the past few months, single-family home prices in the region have slid and are now around level with a year ago, and condo price increases have slowed down considerably.
