My mother, daughter and I were waiting on our front lawn on Thermal Drive last Friday for Rick Hansen to come up the hill. It was an amazing event and we were thrilled to be able to be a small part of it.
We have a picture of the three of us with Rick and my daughter commented on the fact that it was three generations of the same family.
Rick is my mother's hero so she was ecstatic at being able to meet and have her picture taken with him.
