RE: "$4M proposed for park - but residents want a pool" (The Tri-City News, July 30).
Coun. Brent Asmundson, you are way off base in voting against replacing Rochester swimming pool. The public in this area wants a swimming pool, not a cold-water spray park.
The city has received nearly $100 million from the casino and we can't afford swimming pools for our kids? I hope the city council reconsiders this decision.
