The Editor,

Re. "Negative results if PoMo opts for four years of 'Royer Rule'" (Letters, The Tri-City News, Oct. 10).

In answer to letter writer Jim Peacock's disappointment if Gaetan Royer gets elected mayor and Zoe Royer is re-elected as a city councillor, I imagine his elected friends on council and business people do not much care for Mr. Royer's time as administrator for the city of Port Moody. As an administrator, he had to tell developers that Suter Brook had to commit one third of the land to green space. The new OCP that is now before us has no such limits.

In fact, there are precious few limits for developers in it. There are no limits to what the developers can build on many of the properties developers have bought. There are no limits to how high condos can go around Port Moody Station or the waterfront.

Development is going to happen but let's put some limits on it.
