The Editor,
I often take the C27 bus that begins its journey from the Coquitlam Central Station. These C27 buses are small and compact but they are clean and well maintained. The drivers are courteous, helpful and pleasant, and drive cautiously, so the passengers are able to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery whizzing by.
When I board the bus, the driver usually smiles and greets me and I do likewise. Most times, the bus driver waits until I'm seated before moving on. I truly appreciate this.
On dismounting, I look back and say, "Thank you." This is my way of respecting the part played by these hardworking men and women who keep me moving. I salute them.
Many times in life, courtesy and caring are seen as optional.
