Re. "Make it easier to recycle, PoCo council tells MMBC" (The Tri-City News, Sept. 17).
I agree with Coun. Brad West about the issue of recycling in Port Coquitlam. Driving to a specific depot for plastic bags and glass? Can you imagine the extra thousands of unnecessary trips around town?
I suggested the city have glass pick-up every two months and have plastic bags, bundled together, included in the green bin - no reply.
Sorry, I will not drive, waste gas and time, not to mention the effect on traffic and environment. Those items will end up in the garbage bin.
