The Editor,
Re. "What a load of goose crap at park" (Letters, The Tri-City News, Aug. 8).
My family has lived in this area for many generations and when I hear stories about how life used to be for my family, I am truly disgusted about the way things are now.
We go away for the winter but when we return each year to our generational family homestead, we are always shocked by what has happened.
Places my ancestors have called home since "forever" are being taken away from us and paved over or built upon. Our traditional homestead sites are practically all gone now and the area is overrun by humans, who leave litter everywhere.
Human litter does not decompose and is a health hazard to my family. Have you considered culling this health hazard?
Sincerely, Canada Geese
