The Editor,
Riverview Hospital should be kept for the purpose it was built many years ago: the sick and needy.
However, in this day and age, the buildings could be better used for the homeless as well. The facilities are there (though aged) but the people who need the facilities, especially during the winter months, could help cook and clean for their room and board. Volunteers and food banks would be invaluable in this situation and it would be hoped that the government would step in too. After all, charity starts at home.
