The Terry Fox Ravens finished third at the BC boys AAA soccer championships, Saturday at the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West.
The Ravens defeated Vancouver College 1-0 in penalty kicks in the consolation final.
Fox, ranked first of the three representative teams from the Fraser North District, finished first atop its pool after group play. The Ravens defeated Van Tech, Abbotsford and Panorama Ridge but then lost to Argyle, 3-0, in the semifinal.
The Riverside Rapids finished 10th after it lost its placement game on Saturday to McMath, 1-0 in penalty kicks.
The Rapids finished third in its group, losing 2-0 to Vancouver College in the opening round, then rebounding with a 3-2 win over Princess Margaret and 5-0 over North Peace.
The other representative from Fraser North, the Burnaby North Vikings, finished 11th.
Reynolds Secondary — from Vancouver Island — won the tournament, defeating Argyle 2-1 in penalty kicks.
