Play is underway in the 37th Trevor Wingrove Memorial lacrosse tournament that runs through Sunday at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex.
Teams from across British Columbia, Alberta and the United States are competing in five divisions, including — for the first time — two divisions of girls teams.
The tournament's 28 teams began playing their first games Thursday evening and will continue through to the championship finals on Sunday.
The gold medal games will be played on two of Poirier's rinks at:
- 11 a.m. Bantam girls
- 12:30 p.m. PeeWee boys
- 2 p.m. Bantam boys
- 2 p.m. Midget boys
- 3 p.m. Midget girls
Admission to all games is free.
