Coquitlam's Taylor Heinrichs will be springing down court for the Spartans next fall.
The six-foot-seven wing has signed on with Langley's Trinity Western University to toil on the Spartans men's basketball squad.
"It will be tough but I'm willing to put in the work and accept the challenge," he said.
Heinrichs led the Heritage Woods Kodiaks in both scoring and rebounding last season, when he helped his team to third spot in the Fraser Valley AAA boys high school finals.
