Tri-City foodies can plan a sweet escape for next month in tasting a variety of one-of-a-kind pastries.
Three local businesses — two in Port Coquitlam, one in Coquitlam — are listed among 35 vendors for the third annual Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl.
Staring Friday, Nov. 1, and through until Nov. 21, patrons can feast on giant, savoury, sweet, unique and limted-edition croissants along the self-guided tour through the region.
"Croissant enthusiasts are invited to choose their own flaky adventure and walk, bike or drive with friends from one bakery to the next to sample multiple special croissant offerings," a news release stated of the Crawl.
This year, interested residents are encouraged to pre-order the goodies as walk-in quantities will be limited.
