Tri-Cities families looking to make summer memories with their children or grandchildren are getting a helping hand from White Spot and its popular Pirate Paks.
The restaurant chain's annual BC Adventure Days will weigh anchor starting Monday (July 17) in encouraging sailors to explore provincial attractions.
As part of the two-month campaign, every Pirate Pak purchased will include a free child/youth pass to a specific site with the purchase of an adult admission.
This is set to provide families with some financial relief while also giving kids a chance to have fun and learn something new.
How it works
White Spot has two Tri-Cities locations:
- Coquitlam (Sunwood Square)
- Port Coquitlam
Both are in the "Lower Mainland" group of attraction coupons found in Pirate Paks, which are available for kids under 10 years old.
The admission passes, while quantities last, are valid only when accompanied by a paying adult, a newsletter from the restaurant states.
The featured attractions, their location and when their coupons will be included in a Pirate Pak are as follows:
- Kidtropolis (Burnaby) = July 17–30
- VanDusen Botanical Gardens (Vancouver) = July 17–30
- Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (North Vancouver) = July 31–Aug. 13
- Sea to Sky Gondola (Squamish) = July 31–Aug. 13
- PNE Fair (Vancouver) = Aug. 14–27
- HR MacMillan Space Centre (Vancouver) = Aug. 14–27
- Bloedel Conservatory (Vancouver) = Aug. 28–Sept. 10
- FlyOver Canada (Vancouver) = Aug. 28–Sept. 10
- Science World (Vancouver) = Aug. 28–Sept. 10
