Market at Poirier
Pack your grocery bags full with fresh produce and wares from the Coquitlam Farmers Market, happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Dogwood Pavilion (1655 Winslow Ave.). Children can also take part in the POP (Power of Produce) program.

Clean the River
Get your boots on to help the Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable and the Port Coquitlam Rotary clean up the rivers and trails in Port Coquitlam. The community event is held on World Rivers Day at Lions Park (2300 Lions Way) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dance installation
See Sarah Hin Ching U, the Lions Park artist-in-residence, and others perform Stratum, a performance installation interlacing dance and textile arts, at one of two shows today at the Port Coquitlam park (2300 Lions Way): 3 or 4 p.m.

Live Music
The Travelling Mabels move into the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way) for a performance at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Coquitlam venue’s TD Music Series. Eva Levesque, Lana Floen, Therry Lawson and Keith Floen return to the facility to entertain and play songs from their fourth release, Take Me Home, which was nominated for a 2022 CMAC Album of the Year.
