Urban forest
Help the City of Coquitlam create its first Urban Forest Management Strategy. From 8 to 11 a.m., city staff will be at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St.) to talk about the future of the tree canopy, forest, vegetation and soils in the municipality.

Newcomers fair
New Canadians are invited to learn about community services at a Tri-Cities Literacy Committee fair held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). There is no cost to attend; registration is not required.

Dogwood Drama
The Dogwood Drama Club presents a program of four plays for its spring production at the 50+ Dogwood Pavilion (1655 Winslow Ave., Coquitlam): The Committee, At Halftime, Doctor, Doctor and Autumn Drive. The show is at 1:30 p.m. in the Mike Butler Room. Tickets at $10 (cash) can be bought at the door or at the Dogwood Designs gift shop.
