PoCo Farmers Market

Shop for fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, prepared meals and beverages at the 17th Port Coquitlam Farmers Market, which runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at Terry Fox Hometown Square south of the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.). More than 45 farmers and vendors are on site. The market is run by the Fraser North Farmers Market Society.

Bat lives

Bat specialist John Saremba joins the City of Coquitlam’s Park Spark team for a talk about bats and the work being done by the Burke Mountain Naturalists. The free session starts at 2 p.m. at Town Centre Park (1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam).

LOVE: A Musical

Enjoy the last run of the IOCO Players Theatre as it closes its company with their final production, LOVE: A Musical Theatre Concert Live Event. Featuring the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show runs for eight performances — including tonight at 7 p.m. — at the Inlet United Church at The Springs (2315 Spring St., Port Moody). Tickets are $30 online or $32 at the door (cash only). Directed by Mike Arseneault with musical direction from Kylie Lorenzana Fonacier, the concert features a live band.

The Diva

Molly Wilson returns to the Tri-Cities with a musical comedy show called The Great Canadian Diva, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Inlet Theatre (inside Port Moody City Hall, 100 Newport Dr.).

Album release

Coquitlam folk–roots musician Etienne Siew, a graduate of Dr. Charles Best Secondary, releases his début album Chasing Dreams with a concert at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) at 7:30 p.m.
