Here's what's on in the Tri-Cities for Tuesday, July 2, 2024: 


Property taxes

If you own a home or business in the Tri-Cities, property tax bills are due today or a five per cent penalty will be applied to outstanding amounts. After Sept. 16, another five per cent will be added to unpaid sums, including unclaimed homeowners grants.

Heritage Detectives

Join Port Coquitlam historian and longtime resident Bryan Ness for Heritage Detectives, a biweekly exploration of the city’s heritage. The talk takes place at 10 a.m. at PoCo Heritage Museum and Archives (150-2248 McAllister Ave.). There is no cost to attend.

PJ storytime

Take the kids to Mackin House (1116 Brunette Ave.) where the Coquitlam Heritage Society will host a Summer PJ Storytime from 7 to 8 p.m. The event is geared for kids ages three to five. Registration is required.
