For the Youth
Youth who live in Port Moody–Coquitlam MP Bonita Zarrillo's federal riding can earn some volunteer credits for high school by speaking with the member of parliament. Zarrillo invites youth 19 and under to join a youth council event from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mundy Park fieldhouse (629 Hillcrest St., Coquitlam) to share ideas about how to improve the riding and country. Pizza will be served.

Living with Coyotes
Learn how to live in the same urban environment as coyotes in a free educational seminar presented by the City of Port Moody and Stanley Park Ecology Society. With coyote breeding season underway, the session at 7 p.m. will teach you how to co-exist with the animals.

Hear songs by Canada’s country music sweetheart Shania Twain from the tribute act Totally Twain. The band will be at the Inlet Theatre at Port Moody City Hall (100 Newport Dr.) to cover her hits starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $42.
