Advance voting

You can vote early in the provincial election. To vote, you must be a Canadian citizen, 18 or older on Oct. 19, 2024, and have been a B.C. resident since April 18, 2024. Bring two pieces of ID with your photo and address. Do you know who is running for MLA? Visit tricitynews.com, click on the "News" tab and view "BC Votes 2024" for the candidate profiles. Do you know what constituency you live in? There are five new electoral boundaries for the Tri-Cities in the 2024 race.

Brave spaces

Members of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nation will be at the City Centre branch of the Coquitlam Public Library (1169 Pinetree Way) at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Brave Spaces Speaker Series. The series aims to raise awareness of people who are from diverse groups and to share stories.
