More than 70 vendors will be at Dr. Charles Best Secondary in Coquitlam (2525 Como Lake Ave.) from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for a winter market. Entry is by donation. Proceeds support the school’s after-grad celebrations next year.

Music with horns
Get into a soul, jazz and funk vibe with the Wild Blue Herons, made up of Port Moody musicians Bill Sample — a BC Entertainment Hall of Famer — and his partner Darlene Cooper, along with Tom Keenlyside (tenor saxophone); Jim Hopson (trombone); Miles Foxx Hill (bass); and Randall Stoll (drums). The concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m., is part of Sample and Cooper’s Inlet Theatre Music Series at the Inlet Theatre inside Port Moody City Hall (100 Newport Dr.).

ROOF
