Daylight savings

It’s time to push your clocks ahead an hour for Daylight Savings Time. It’s also a good time to check your smoke detectors to see if they’re working properly.

Fresh food

Bring your grocery bags to load up on produce and other handmade goods at the Port Moody Farmers Winter Market, happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot south of the Port Moody Recreation Complex (300 Ioco Rd.).

Dansez, chantez

The 36th annual Festival du Bois wraps up its weekend fun with performances under the Big Tent at Mackin Park (1046 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam), as well as in the children’s tent and at Mackin House. The main stage lineup starts with a mass at 9 a.m. followed by a pancake breakfast (for an additional cost) and musical acts the Jocelyn Pettit Band, La Patente, Kutapria, Le Déferlance and LeFLOFRANCO. Admission for kids 12 and under is free.
