Dementia-Friendly cafe
In recognition of Alzheimer's Awareness Month, the City of Port Coquitlam and the Adult Cognitive Wellness Program (ACWP) is relaunching the Dementia-Friendly Café, an initiative to support people living with dementia and their families. The café is open on the last Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Mabbett Hall in the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave); there is no cost to attend.

West Side Story
Chiara Go plays Maria while Justin Luo, also in Grade 11, portrays Tony in West Side Story, a Pinetree Secondary production at the Coquitlam high school (3000 Pinewood Ave). Tickets at $15/$10 can be bought at the door on show nights or through SD43’s School Cash Online system. The curtain rises at 7 p.m.

Arts Club
Someone Like You is the latest production by the Arts Club on Tour, which mounts its play at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) at 7:30 p.m. The show by Christine Quintana centres on romantic love. Tickets are $52/$44/$16.
