CRA helps
Representatives from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Service Canada will be at the City Centre branch of the Coquitlam Public Library (1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) to help you learn about benefits, credits and pensions while filing your tax forms this year. No registration is required for the session, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; however, participants may have to wait for service. Bring identification and necessary paperwork.

Artist demo
Coquitlam artist Reza Doust will show his techniques for figurative art at the Art Focus Artists Association gathering at The Outlet at Leigh Square (next to Port Coquitlam City Hall) from 7 to 9 p.m. The demonstration is free and open to the public. Doust is an internationally recognized artist whose work has appeared in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Europe and Canada.

Something Rotten
Musical theatre students at Terry Fox Secondary (1260 Riverwood Gate, Port Coquitlam) present Something Rotten, a show directed and choreographed by Zelda Coertze with musical direction from Taylor Mckee. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door on show nights. The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m.
