It’s the 42nd year for the Coquitlam Christmas Craft Fair, held this year at the Poirier Forum (next to the Dogwood Pavilion, 618 Poirier St.) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5/$3 (no cost for kids 12 and under). Tickets are via Eventbrite.ca.

Winter market
Grab your grocery bags and tour the Winter Farmers Market, on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Port Moody Recreation Complex (300 Ioco Rd.). Artist Nickie Lewis will offer a wildlife-friendly crafting activity.

Shop for Christmas presents at the holiday market at Site B in Port Moody (3012 Murray St.) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry is free.

Winter Wonders
Go for a storywalk in an old train caboose and have word with Santa at the holiday festivities at Heritage Square in Coquitlam (1116 Brunette Ave.), a presentation by the Coquitlam Heritage Society. The event runs rain or shine from noon to 3 p.m. and there is no cost to attend.

Cool Yule
Vocalist LJ Mounteney and guitarist Andrew Hillhouse ring in the holidays with the jazz group Van Django at a concert at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) at 7:30 p.m. The band includes Cameron Wilson, Brent Gubbels and Finn Manniche. Tickets are $37/$34/$16.
