Holidays for little ones
Families with young children ages two to five can stop by Mackin House in Coquitlam (1116 Brunette Ave.) to decorate cookies, make a craft and listen to a holiday story from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Refreshments will be provided. The cost is $8 per child.

It’s every elf for themselves in The Comedy Department’s Holiday Comedy Rumble, a show on at 3 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. with Coquitlam native Michael Teigen at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). The company was formed by Denise Jones and David Milchard, two well-known Vancouver performers. Tickets are $37/$34/$16.
