A special menu at a Port Moody restaurant will now turn into pantry staples for Tri-City families in need.
Float30’s second annual food bank event on Dec. 22 raised more than $3,000 for the SHARE food bank, according to a post on the eatery's Facebook page.
Staff at the waterfront restaurant donated their time and tips during the special lunch service that featured a menu of many of Float30’s favourite dishes.
This included fish and chips, smashburgers and chicken strips.
The restaurant, located at Reed Point Marina, opened in 2022, taking over the space formerly occupied by Willy’s Galley.
Since then its grown a reputation as a hidden gem for its seafood menu and expansive views of Burrard Inlet and Port Moody’s north shore.
