The Tri-Cities has endured a roller-coaster the last three civic elections when it comes to eligible voters choosing to head to the polls.
On average, the region saw a 38.8 per cent voter turnout in local elections from 2011, 2014 and 2018.
General voting day for 2022 is set for Saturday (Oct. 15) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for eligible residents, and we'll find out soon after who will make up local councils for the next four years.
Here's a look at how results have played out in the Tri-Cities in the three previous municipal elections.
