A partnership between SFU students and the Canadian Cancer Society will see two fundraisers in the Tri-Cities this month.
25toLife and the society aim to bring in $25,000 for cancer research, with their first event happening Friday in Port Coquitlam. Bowl for the Goal runs from 9 p.m. to midnight Nov. 8 at PoCo Bowl (2263 McAllister Ave.) with tickets at $25 available through eventbrite.ca.
And Let’s Kick Cancer takes place Saturday, Nov. 23 at Excel Martial Arts (1046-F Austin Ave., Coquitlam), with one-hour time slots available between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets at $20 are also through eventbrite.ca.
