Public asked to weigh in on future of SD43 school properties

The final two community dialogues on the future of School District 43 school properties are planned for next week.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27, the public is invited to talk about the future of Coronation Park, a closed school in Coquitlam on the Port Moody border. The workshop will be held in the Moody middle school gymnasium, 3115 St. Johns St. Port Moody.

On Thursday, Nov. 28, a workshop be held in the Parkland elementary school gym to talk about the future of a strip of land on the east end of the school property, which the district would like to sell for housing. Parkland is located at 1563 Regan Ave., Coquitlam.

The discussions are part of SD43's ongoing Learning, Lands and Neighbourhoods project.

Both workshops run from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
