Port Moody Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects believed to be involved in a daytime break-in last November.
A man returning to his Westhill Place home at about 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 29, 2012 noticed the door was open and a man was standing on his balcony. The suspect fled but the owner went outside and confronted a man who was seen walking quickly away from the home and towards a waiting vehicle.
The owner used his cellphone to get a video of the man and an accomplice. After a brief argument, the suspects got into the vehicle and drove way.
Police found the suspects had fled in a stolen vehicle and hit a parked car while making their escape from the B&E, during which jewelry and cash were stolen.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man about 6'1" tall and 185 lb.; he appeared to be about 25 to 30 years old and had a shaved head and goatee; he was wearing a black Adidas track suit, had an accent that may have been from the Maritimes and also had a noticeable tattoo on his hand.
The second man was also Caucasian, about 55 to 60 years old; he was about 5'10" and 180 lb., with greying brown hair and a Maritimes accent.
