One of the biggest events of the year in the Tri-Cities is about to happen and it's all taking place in downtown Port Coquitlam.
This free event for vintage vehicle buffs, hot rodders and car enthusiasts is called the Downtown Port Coquitlam Car Show.
It occurs each year in the city's downtown core, with 500 cars on display and thousands of visitors taking in the amazing car collection.
To make the event is a success, road closures will be in place Saturday (Aug. 19) and Sunday (Aug. 20) with maps provided by the event organizers.
The closures are to accommodate the evening car cruise, which takes place on Saturday evening, and the car show itself, which begins at 10 a.m.
