Police concerned for well-being of missing Coquitlam woman

Family reported Lifang Cheng as missing to Coquitlam RCMP four hours after her last known sighting.

Lifang Cheng was reported missing to Coquitlam RCMP on July 10, 2023, and police are concerned for her wellbeing.

Coquitlam Mounties are concerned for the missing 69-year-old's well-being and are looking speak to her, said spokesperson Sgt. Jeff Millard.

Cheng was reported missing to RCMP at around 12:40 p.m. on Monday (July 10), roughly four hours after she was last seen before 8:50 a.m. that morning.

Police are now turning to the public to help find Cheng, who's last known sighting was on Burke Mountain near the intersection of Harper Road and Shay Street.

Coquitlam Search and Rescue (SAR) has been called to assist Mounties with the investigation.

Cheng is described as:

  • Asian
  • 5'5"
  • 130 pounds
  • Brown eyes
  • Grey and black medium-length hair
  • Last seen wearing....
    • Black jumpsuit
    • Straw-style hat
