The Terry Fox Hometown Run brought thousands of supporters to Port Coquitlam's Hyde Creek Recreation Centre on Sunday, Sept. 17.
It was the 43rd annual event that honours the Canadian hero and local athlete also raised donations for cancer research through the Terry Fox Foundation.
"He's so iconic yet so relatable," said organizer Dave Teixeira ahead of the 2023 edition.
Since its inception, the Terry Fox Run has raised more than $750 million nationwide.
