Port Coquitlam may be located in the suburbs, with a large chunk of land dedicated to industrial and rail yard uses.
But it’s still a gorgeous city (at least, we think so) if you look at the 2022 calendar soon to be dropped in local mailboxes.
The beauty of Port Coquitlam’s trails, cityscapes and rivers has been captured by dozens of photographers, with 12 images whittled down from 350 submitted for the city’s latest calendar.
Aside from presenting the city in all its seasonal glory, the calendar comes with all kinds of information.
The city’s annual calendar will be mailed directly to all Port Coquitlam households and businesses.
The calendar can also be downloaded from the city's website, where you can also check out all the photos submitted for the 2022 display.
Submissions are also being accepted for next year’s calendar.
SORT AND REPORT
The PoCo calendar also includes the neighbourhood waste collection schedule.
Residents are encouraged to use the city’s free Sort and Report app — a one-stop resource with a wide variety of uses, including ideas to sort waste on the go, report problems, get collection alerts and more.
The app can be downloaded for free at portcoquitlam.ca/sortreport to see collection schedules, set reminders, report problems and use the search tool.
A one-page collection schedule and zone map can be downloaded from here on the city's website (see Collection Schedule and Zone Map page).
