Spend some time this summer strolling around the community gardens at Colony Farm Regional Park in Coquitlam.
There, more than 300 gardeners attend to the 650 individual garden plots on seven acres, which also has a berry border, demonstration plots, a small orchard, tool sheds, a pagoda, lawns and a food bank garden.
The area is also popular with photographers trying to capture hummingbirds and other wildlife.
