A burst of rain before last Saturday's Lafarge Park Latin Fiesta didn't stop hundreds of dancers and visitors from flocking to Town Centre Park in Coquitlam.
Sponsored by the Tri-City News, the fourth annual summer dance party on June 22 was produced by Alberto Gonzalez and Teresa Szefler of the Salsa Dance Zone.
For the past 16 years, Salsa Dance Zone has held lessons at the Evergreen Cultural Centre, the Port Coquitlam and Port Moody legions, Site B Brewing and, most recently, St. Clare’s Hall.
