The weather was warm on the weekend. But at Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park, it was hot with the rhythms and colours of Caribbean Days.
Organized by the Trinidad and Tobago Cultural Society of BC, it was the event’s second year at Town Centre Park after 32 years in North Vancouver.
The festival featured entertainment with Soca, Reggae, Calypso, Latin and African beats, food from places like Trinidad, Jamaica and Barbados, a marketplace and a grand parade as well as a kids parade.
