The three founders of a musical theatre company will entertain at a cabaret-style event in Coquitlam next weekend.
Sabrielle McCurdy, Ryan Nunez and Theo Budd of Play On Words Productions will be at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way) on Saturday, Nov. 25, to sing some of Broadway’s greatest hits.
The show that’s part of the facility’s Rehearsal Hall Sessions will see the theatre school graduates perform and tell stories during the event, which starts at 8 p.m.
Since the troupe began in 2015, Play On Words has produced four full-length musicals, an original workshop production, the cabaret series Twisted Broadway and more than a dozen musical shows, including Bonnie & Clyde; the latter had a sold-out run at the Havana Theatre in 2017.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for students. You can call the Evergreen Cultural Centre box office at 604-927-6555 or visit evergreenculturalcentre.ca for more information.
