Think you know everything about SkyTrains, SeaBuses and the West Coast Express?
A Port Moody brewery is set to test local residents' knowledge of Metro Vancouver's transit system that's also set to act as a fundraiser for local charity.
Moody Ales and Co. has scheduled a TransLink Trivia Night for Thursday (Feb. 16) at its establishment — located at 2601 Murray St.
It's currently one of six stops in the City of the Arts on the BC Ale Trail, which includes a passport program with a special TransLink bonus square that earns you a chance to win a one-month transit pass.
The trivia night is part of TransLink's I Love Transit Week, which, according to the regional authority, "celebrates the countless ways public transportation enriches our communities and helps shape our region."
"From reducing traffic congestion to fostering those connections to the people and places that matter the most, transit plays a vital role in our daily lives."
In Port Moody, there are two major transit hubs, including Moody Centre for SkyTrain's Evergreen Line and the West Coast Express — about a 10-minute walk from Moody Ales and Brewers Row.
According to the event's description, trivia teams can have up to six people and only 50 seats are open on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A minimum of $15 must also be spent at the brewery in the form of a "draught product or beer to go."
Donations for charity can be made on site, Moody Ales added.
TransLink Trivia Night is set for Feb. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. with the contest beginning at 7 p.m., and teams must arrive by 6:45 p.m.
