An arts hub in Coquitlam needs your expertise.
Place des Arts is calling for professionals to join its board of directors.
The non-profit organization that’s based in Maillardville is searching for volunteers to share their skills and experience to guide the arts education centre that was founded in 1972.
Directors are needed to fill the following fields:
- Information Technology (IT)
- Legal
- Human Resources
- Financial Management/Accounting
- Fundraising
Successful candidates will be required to attend at least 10 meetings a year, currently held via Zoom.
As well, directors should be at Place des Arts special events, lead — or be active on — at least one board committee and help Place des Arts build relationships to boost fundraising efforts.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, Oct. 15.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted and be required to provide a Police Information Check before joining the board.
Applicants don’t have to live in the Tri-Cities to sign up.
