It may be the middle of July, but Port Moody is not taking a vacation this week.
A massive agenda is on tap for tonight (July 19) covering development projects, a third SkyTrain station report, undue influence concerns, parks and more.
The special council meeting comes as a developer is hoping for reconsideration of an extension to complete paperwork for final adoption of its Westport Village.
Coun. Zoe Royer is expected to seek a second look at a proposal — defeated last week in a 3-3 tie with Coun. Amy Lubik absent — to give Andre Peller Ltd. a one-year extension for work required to receive fourth and final reading for its master-planned community on the city's west side.
Reconsideration may be raised at the beginning of the meeting as, under Port Moody bylaws, any vote may be called for reconsideration at the next council meeting.
Also on the agenda is first and second reading for a rezoning application for Areas B and C for Coronation Park, which is not part of the Wesgroup proposal for which a rezoning application has recently been submitted.

- Bedwell Bay Transportation Study, $300,000 be allocated in the 2023 capital plan for a detailed design for a proposed multi-use path along First Avenue and Bedwell Bay Road, between Ioco Road and Tum Tumay Whueton Drive and that staff look for funding opportunities to help pay for the detailed design and construction of the project.
