Did your recent lottery-winning strategy include buying a ticket in the Tri-Cities?
If yes, it worked.
And the reward for your efforts is a six-figure payday.
According to PlayNow.com, someone that bought a Lotto Max ticket in Coquitlam for last Tuesday's, Sept. 17, draw is set to receive a total of $293,334.10.
That person correctly matched at least six of the following numbers:
- 2, 4, 11, 16, 25, 29, 47 and 34 as the bonus
The local winner's cash is also a three-way split with two others — one in Ontario and one in western Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba).
"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," the BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has previously stated.
"The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners' name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize."
The Lotto Max jackpot from the Sept. 17 draw was a record-breaking $80 million and two people are splitting top prize.
Someone in Ontario and Quebec matched all seven numbers and are receiving $40 million each.
