Richard Stewart (Coquitlam mayor) and Meghan Lahti (Port Moody mayor) gave me an early Christmas present this year by speaking up against the harmful effects of densification of the province's housing policy.

I’ve been writing about the consequences for two years.

This includes overcrowding, loss of trees and green space, too little pre-planning and effects of children’s development.

Thank you, mayors, for leading the way.
