Letter: Some ticket-holders to Taylor Swift concert were greedy

Taylor Swift played three concerts in Vancouver last week.

The Editor,

Re: 'She will never forget this': How a mom and daughter went to a Coquitlam Express hockey game and ended up at a Taylor Swift concert (Dec. 9, 2024)

I am so thrilled for the mother and daughter winning tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Vancouver.

I never attended any of her concerts, but had numerous friends here in Ontario who travelled to France and Sweden to see her.

Why l am so glad that the winners were these two is because they actually attended the concert themselves.

My friend knew of people who either won tickets or bought tickets they did not either need nor intend to use, so they sold their $250 tickets for between $3,000 and $5,000 each.

One person had four extra tickets at $250 and sold them for $5,000 each, taking in $20,000 in tax-free dollars.

Am l the only one who is disguised by this?

I believe it is greed extraordinaire!
