"Seniors Take On Things We Never Talk About" is a musical from MOSAIC seniors that runs at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam on March 31, and April 1 and 2, 2025.

A non-profit that supports new Canadians who are older will bring its original musical to Coquitlam this month and next.

MOSAIC will present Seniors Take On Things We Never Talk About at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) on:

  • March 31 at 6:30 p.m.
  • April 1 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • April 2 at 6:30 p.m.

A show that’s designed to amplify the voices of immigrant seniors, the production tells “taboo” stories about aging stereotypes, elder abuse and social isolation.

And it includes some actors who are performing in English for their first time.

Last year’s run drew 900 audience members.

“This musical isn’t just about entertainment — it’s about creating space for meaningful conversations,” said Daisy Au, MOSAIC Seniors Club coordinator, in a news release.

Admission is free; however, seats are limited. To save a spot, visit the MOSAIC website.
