Hundreds out for Teddy Bear Grande Parade

The annual procession is organized by Festival Coquitlam.

Pinetree Way was lined with families yesterday morning (Sunday) for Festival Coquitlam's annual Teddy Bear Grande Parade.

Colourful groups and floats proceeded from city hall to Trevor Wingrove Way to sound off and celebrate the community.

It was followed by the Teddy Bear Picnic in the afternoon, a free bash filled with entertainment at the north end of Coquitlam Town Centre Park.

The next Festival Coquitlam event is Sunday (June 16) for a free family fishing day at Lafarge Lake, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
